Corporate Insolvency Detector
Problem: Negative shareholders' funds and working-capital risks can be hard to spot from headline figures.
Built: An interactive checker that evaluates balance-sheet inputs and surfaces solvency and working-capital signals.
Bank Health Checker
Problem: Readers need to compare disclosed bank capital with the relevant recapitalization tier target.
Built: A browser-based checker for comparing a capital figure against a selected CBN licensing tier.
Odiete.com.ng publishing platform
Problem: The journal needed durable, crawlable article pages and discoverable interactive tools without a CMS.
Built: A hand-built publishing site with generated article pages, structured data, RSS, sitemap and IndexNow support.

The Code and The Ledger has published weekly since January 2026 on Nigerian fintech, monetary and regulatory policy, and the control systems underneath them — where they fail, why it matters, and what the numbers actually show.
Recurring subjects include the CBN recapitalisation programme and who cleared it; the real effective exchange rate behind the headline Naira number; the shift to a consumer-credit economy; and household maths such as rent versus buy in Lagos, the true cost of generator dependency, and what relocating does to a balance sheet. Where a piece makes a claim, a later piece scores it.
